Yoshi's Island
Me and my partner wanted to first create a racing game, and secondly a snake game. We chose to use one of the tutorials Chris, our teacher, had on his digital portfolio. We chose this one because it was simpler, and had better instructions than other tutorials we found online. Of course the biggest frustration is when we would try to change some of the coding, and it wouldn't work. Trial and error was the best method I found to changing code, as well as looking back at the tutorial and reading the instructions again. At one point the game wouldn't run at all, so I copy and pasted the original code into my corrupted code and had to start all over again. My classmates said the theme of our game was really well put together, but that's thanks to my partner, she's the one who did almost all of the visual representation part of the game.
